Quang Nam honors 102 individuals and groups in the patriotic emulation movement

Specifically, the movement "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas" brought the total number of communes meeting the standards to 130/193 communes; the movement "For the poor - leaving no one behind" supported tens of thousands of poor households to build economic development models and reduce poverty sustainably; the movement "Join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" supported the construction of 934 new houses and the repair of 414 houses with a total cost of more than 50 billion VND.

According to the Provincial People's Committee, in recent times, the provincial leaders have always paid attention to the work of commendation through directing the implementation of innovation in methods, evaluation processes, and commendation procedures. The awarding and receiving of emulation titles and forms of commendation are organized solemnly, economically, in accordance with regulations, have the effect of timely encouragement and motivation, and are supported by public opinion.

Speaking at the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Luong Nguyen Minh Triet emphasized that praising typical emulation models is extremely necessary to create a spirit and motivation for exciting emulation to help encourage and motivate the entire people in the emulation movements in the coming time.

Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet commended the outstanding collectives and individuals who received emulation achievements in recent times; at the same time, he affirmed that these achievements have made important contributions to the political construction and socio-economic development in the province.

“In particular, in the context of the whole province facing many difficulties and challenges, the positive contributions of each individual and collective have become a source of encouragement and motivation, contributing to the overall results that are very encouraging, helping to maintain, sustain, and gradually restore the province's socio-economic situation after the COVID-19 pandemic,” emphasized Comrade Luong Nguyen Minh Triet.

At the conference, 78 collectives and 24 individuals with outstanding achievements and typical examples in patriotic emulation movements received the Labor Medal from the President, the Emulation Flag from the Government and Certificates of Merit from the Provincial People's Committee.
