Quang Nam regularly, continuously and diversely communicates about human rights

The plan aims to raise public awareness and combat false claims about human rights . With the goal of regular, continuous and diverse communication, Quang Nam focuses on three main contents: disseminating knowledge about human rights, introducing efforts and achievements in ensuring human rights, and refuting distorted information.

In particular, Quang Nam focuses on exploiting digital platforms to provide information, while promoting the role of the press and coordination between departments, branches and localities.

By 2025, the province strives to have 100% of provincial administrative agencies implement the mechanism of speaking out and providing information on human rights to the press as prescribed. All officials and civil servants in charge of human rights and foreign information are trained in communication skills. Media products are diversified, prioritizing creative and modern styles to spread strongly on cyberspace.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to act as the focal point, coordinating with units to carry out many important tasks such as: disseminating Decision 1079/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister approving the Project on communication on human rights in Vietnam, organizing training for officials and the press, producing multimedia communication content in both Vietnamese and foreign languages.

Other activities include organizing groups of reporters to go to typical localities to write articles, integrating human rights content into education and activities of socio-political organizations, applying digital technology to monitor and promptly respond to false information.

Funding for implementation is allocated from the 2025 budget, combined with integration from national target programs and socialized sources. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism monitors, urges and reports results; coordinates with the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department to orient communication and combat erroneous viewpoints.
