Speaking at the regular meeting of March, assessing the implementation of socio-economic tasks in the first quarter on the morning of April 3, Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung requested civil servants to uphold their responsibilities during this period, focusing on resolving unnecessary problems to promote disbursement at the grassroots level.

The most prominent feature in the assessment of Quang Nam's socio-economic situation in the first quarter is the disbursement of public investment capital. As of March 28, the disbursement of the 2025 public investment capital plan had only reached 6.5%. This level is too low compared to the disbursement target this year. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung said: the biggest problem at present is still the responsibility of civil servants in performing public duties, this needs to be promptly rectified. To ensure effective operation of state management at all levels, in addition to rectifying public duties, leaders of functional sectors and localities must be active and determined in directing and operating.

According to Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung, the general situation will continue to be more difficult in the coming time, most recently the US Government decided to impose a 46% tax on goods from Vietnam, which will be a huge difficulty for businesses and people, including some key manufacturing industries of the province, directly affecting the lives of workers.

Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung also noted 15 major issues, including continuing to implement the approved planning and the Prime Minister's conclusion during the working session with the province last February, especially promoting the implementation of key projects, serving the target of double-digit growth as planned.
