Quang Nam launches the movement "Digital Literacy for All"

The "Digital Literacy" movement will focus on the following contents: Instructions on how to use smart devices and the Internet safely; introducing practical applications for life and production; training in basic skills on information security, preventing digital fraud; building a spirit of lifelong learning in a digital environment.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province Le Van Dung emphasized that in the context of the digital age, the era of national development, with the strong development of science and technology, especially 4.0 technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI), big data, ... we continue a new mission: Improving digital skills, popularizing technological knowledge, helping all people access modern tools for learning, working and developing.

Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province Le Van Dung requested that all levels, sectors and organizations focus on doing a good job of propaganda and mobilization work throughout the province so that cadres and people are clearly aware of the important role of digital transformation and are ready to participate in learning and applying technology in life.

Deploying online classes and courses, popularizing digital knowledge on a suitable platform, easily accessible to all subjects, combined with direct classes in localities, helping everyone to easily access digital knowledge, easy to understand, easy to absorb.

Along with that, all levels, sectors and organizations promote digital skills training programs for people, especially vulnerable groups, the elderly and freelance workers so that they can apply technology to work and life.

Promote the role of community digital technology groups in building digital family, digital rural, digital urban models, introducing digital platforms, and spreading digital skills widely.

“Governments at all levels, organizations, businesses and all people of Quang Nam province strongly responded to the movement to help everyone not be left behind in the digital transformation journey. Making “Digital Education for All” a regular, continuous and widespread movement throughout the province, becoming a breakthrough in raising awareness and digital skills,” Comrade Le Van Dung called for.

The online training program “Digital Education for the People” in Quang Nam province is deployed on the One Touch platform at https://quangnam.onetouch.edu.vn. The program is designed with 10 topics.

It is expected that about 5,700 officials from provincial to grassroots levels will participate in courses on Digital Economy, Digital Society, Digital Skills in State Agencies, Information Security in Digital Transformation, Digital Transformation of Education, Teaching Digital Skills and Internet Safety for Teachers.

At the same time, nearly 2,000 business leaders, managers and employees will be trained in Digital Transformation in Vietnamese enterprises; more than 7,000 people, students and members of community digital technology groups will be instructed in Digital Skills and Internet Safety for Students, Digital Payment, and Digital Signature.

On the morning of April 18, the entire Quang Nam province had more than 3,440 students registered to attend classes on the One Touch online platform.

By 2025, Quang Nam sets the task of having 80% of cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the public sector have an understanding of digital transformation, digital knowledge and skills, and be able to use digital platforms and services for work; 100% of high school and university students are equipped with digital knowledge and skills to serve their studies, research and creativity; 80% of adults have basic knowledge of digital transformation, have digital skills, and be able to use smart devices; 80% of workers in enterprises and cooperatives have basic knowledge of digital technology, have digital skills, and be able to use smart devices to serve production and business, and improve labor productivity.

On this occasion, Quang Nam province launched the Quang Nam Provincial Land Information Portal and the QR Code Lookup system of Land Use Right Certificates to better serve the needs of people and businesses to look up information on Land Plots and Land Use Right Certificates (containing QR codes according to the 2024 Land Law).
