Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Le Van Dung has just signed a report on anti-corruption work, serving the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

Notably, according to the report, from October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, Quang Nam has transferred the work positions of 402 cadres, civil servants and public employees in the area to prevent corruption.

Quang Nam also organized 57 inspections of law enforcement responsibilities on anti-corruption and negativity and recommended handling of violations against 14 groups and 40 individuals.

In addition, inspection, auditing and detection and handling of corruption cases have achieved some remarkable results.

In the first 9 months of this year, through administrative inspections at 295 units, Quang Nam discovered violations of more than 32 billion VND and more than 10,200 square meters of land. It has proposed to recover more than 13 billion VND and more than 2,500 square meters of land to the budget, and proposed to review the responsibilities of 142 groups and 253 individuals.

At the same time, transfer the case files of 4 cases to the Provincial Police Investigation Agency and 1 case to Thang Binh District Police for consideration according to authority.

During the same period, through investigation, prosecution, and trial of corruption cases within the scope of monitoring and management of the Provincial People's Committee, Quang Nam discovered that assets damaged by corruption (through investigation by police at two levels) were more than 14.7 billion VND and recovered more than 9.6 billion VND.
