According to statistics, by March 5, the entire province had completed the task of digitizing records. The digitized civil status data came from 3 levels of government, of which the commune level accounted for the majority with 1,447,948 data, the provincial level 2,108 data and the district level 599 data.
Digitization focuses on important types of records such as birth registration (879,266 records), death registration (160,470 records), marriage registration (283,577 records), confirmation of marital status (129,424 records) and registration of recognition of father, mother and child (918 records).
Of the total completed data, 1,059,362 data were digitized from the historical civil status software of the Ministry of Justice, and 391,293 data were entered directly into the electronic civil status database.
Digitization not only helps preserve and store data securely, but also contributes to shortening processing time, minimizing paperwork, increasing transparency and improving the quality of citizen services.
