Accordingly, the People's Committee of Quang Nam province assigned the Department of Transport to provide a list of organizations, individuals and the number of vehicles granted transport business licenses, badges and signs to the provincial Tax Department on a monthly basis.

Based on the provided data, the Quang Nam Provincial Tax Department directed its subordinate tax branches to coordinate with sectors and People's Committees of communes, wards and towns to inspect, review and count all organizations, individuals and the number of cars operating in the transport business in the area to compare with the data provided by the Department of Transport to review and add to the list of tax management vehicles.
Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee also assigned the Tax Department to coordinate with the Department of Transport to closely monitor enterprises and cooperatives operating in the same type of transport business, transport routes, number of vehicles... to compare tax declaration and payment of enterprises and cooperatives.
In case of detecting signs of tax declaration inconsistent with the scale and number of vehicles, the tax authority shall base on the tax sector's data, information collected on revenue and average tax payable of the same type of vehicles of a number of local transport business units and documents, results of inspections and audits to carry out tax determination according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration.
In case there is sufficient basis to conclude that it is an act of tax evasion, it shall be handled according to the provisions of the Law on Tax Administration or the case shall be transferred to competent authorities for prosecution for the crime of "Tax evasion" according to the provisions of the Penal Code, and the transportation business license shall be revoked.
At the same time, regularly update complete information about taxpayers who have registered for car transport business tax in the area.
In which, classify the types of freight and passenger transport businesses (fixed routes, contract vehicles, tourist vehicles, buses, taxis, etc.), synthesize quarterly data as a basis for comparison with vehicle registration data provided by the Traffic Police Department of Quang Nam Province, and data on licensing and business badge issuance provided by the Department of Transport.
In addition, tax authorities need to strengthen inspection, examination, and strict tax management, unify to ensure fairness in business activities and tax obligations for enterprises and cooperatives, especially enterprises and cooperatives with large business scale in the area, put them under key supervision and risk management; regularly review business data and tax declarations of these enterprises to conduct inspections, examinations, and handle them according to regulations.
