Quang Nam proposes to ensure safety for the "Reunification Train" passing through the area

The document stated that on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Vietnam Railways Corporation will run a pair of trains named "Reunification Train", including train SE1 departing from Hanoi station at 20:55 on April 29, 2025 and train SE4 departing from Saigon station at 19:00 on April 29, 2025. The journey of these two trains will be on the North-South railway through Quang Nam, expected to be around 10:25 to 15:00 on April 30, 2025.

In order to propagate andeducate revolutionary traditions, arouse national pride, and at the same time ensure absolute safety and smooth operation of the "Unification Train", the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee requests agencies, units, and localities to widely and continuously propagate laws on railway traffic safety and order before and during the time the train passes through the province.

Propaganda work needs to emphasize prohibited behaviors such as: Vandalizing railway works and railway vehicles; preventing train operation, arbitrarily signaling or using devices to stop trains, except in cases where incidents causing loss of railway traffic safety are detected. Grazing animals, holding markets on railways, within the protection range of railway works and railway traffic safety corridors. Throwing soil, rocks or other objects onto trains and other dangerous behaviors.

The Provincial Traffic Safety Committee requested the Provincial Police to direct functional forces to increase patrols and controls at hotspots, densely populated areas, and road-railway intersections; proactively prevent and strictly handle violations of railway traffic safety laws.

Quang Nam - Da Nang Railway Joint Stock Company, Nghia Binh Railway Operation Branch, Da Nang Railway Signaling and Information Company organized inspections and reviews of railway traffic safety and order, focusing on key locations and sections in Quang Nam; proactively and closely coordinated with local People's Committees and functional forces during the implementation process.
