Quang Nam: Highlights of Tam Ky Sua Flower Festival 2025

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Nam - Vice Chairman of Tam Ky City People's Committee, Head of the Festival Organizing Committee affirmed: The festival "Tam Ky - Sua flower season 2025" with the theme "Brilliant yellow flowers" is an important cultural - tourism event, the annual tourism event at the beginning of the year of the City to promote the image of Tam Ky land and people to domestic and international friends; besides, it is an opportunity to honor and spread the beauty of the yellow Sua flower - a typical flower; a heritage tree of Tam Ky land.

During the 4 days of the festival, Tam Ky eco-village will welcome a large number of domestic, foreign and international tourists to visit and experience. Coming to the festival, visitors will not only enjoy an open, beautiful, poetic space with the golden color of Su flowers stretching along the poetic Tam Ky riverside road, but also experience many unique activities of the hospitable people of Quang Nam in general and Huong Tra village in particular.

To open the festival, in accordance with the good culture of "When drinking water, remember its source", the elders of Huong Tra village organized a spring ceremony and opened the festival at Huong Tra village communal house, thereby reporting to the local god, the land god and previous generations the results that the village has achieved.

Next, there were a series of very special and meaningful activities: Exhibition of artworks painted on conical hats organized by the Women's Union of Tam Ky city; exhibition of children's fine arts and calligraphy activities; chess tournament; Tam Ky city children's fine arts competition; music exchange between Tam Ky city bands; Ao Dai performance program "Duyen dang Huong Tra".

In particular, within the framework of the festival, the Organizing Committee also organized the Tam Ky city traditional boat racing tournament, which gathered many strong and good racing teams from inside and outside the province to participate; launched the Olympic Running Day "For the health of all people in Quang Nam province" and the "Discovering Huong Tra" Running Tournament...

Coming to Tam Ky festival - Sua flower season this year, visitors can also visit, shop and experience at booths displaying startup products, OCOP products, agricultural products, and visit artisans performing traditional crafts and culinary arts.
