Quang Nam carefully prepares activities to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day

On the afternoon of April 16, Vice Chairman of Quang Nam Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan chaired a meeting with the Department of Home Affairs and relevant departments and branches to evaluate preparations for activities commemorating the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025).

According to the Department of Home Affairs, the Department is currently coordinating with the Provincial People's Committee Office and other sectors, units and localities to develop a plan to organize activities to celebrate the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee agrees with the conclusion of the Provincial Party Committee on the policy of giving gifts to families of people with revolutionary contributions on the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, in which each gift is worth about 1 million VND including 500,000 VND in cash, a gift of candy worth 300,000 VND and 1 Bat Trang vase.

Concluding the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan affirmed that this year's July 27 is quite special when there are activities to celebrate major holidays of the country and the province, so the activities need to be carefully prepared to show gratitude for the contributions of previous generations.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan also agreed on the plans for visiting and giving gifts according to the plan advised by the Department of Home Affairs, and at the same time requested the Department to coordinate with the locality to soon issue a master plan to organize activities to celebrate July 27. In addition, activities on the work of eliminating temporary houses for people with meritorious services, the project of upgrading and renovating cemeteries, honoring martyrs; and the program of the July 27th celebration were also noted by Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan at the meeting.
