Quang Nam adds social housing targets to development plan

Accordingly, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee welcomed investors who have paid attention, researched, surveyed, and proposed ideas for social housing investment in the province; at the same time, requested relevant sectors, units, and localities to review, research, and guide investors to implement social housing investment in a strict and correct manner in the shortest time.

Specifically, the Department of Finance is required to urgently add the target of completing social housing in 2025 and the following years until 2030 to the socio -economic development target of the province; preside over and coordinate with relevant departments, branches, and units to actively guide investors with social housing land funds in concentrated commercial housing projects to speed up the progress of implementing investment in the construction of social housing that has been approved for investment policy.

The Department of Finance needs to review and study the classification into groups: projects eligible for investment construction, projects that need to be studied and reviewed to adjust the approval of investment policies, independent social housing projects to guide investors to implement in accordance with regulations with a proactive and positive spirit, resolving difficulties wherever they arise, in cases beyond authority, proactively coordinate with relevant sectors to advise the Provincial People's Committee to consider, direct or advise reporting to competent authorities for consideration and direction.

It is known that at the recent meeting, many social housing projects were proposed for investment research such as social housing in the projects: An Hoa Bay Eco-High-end Urban Area, Phuc Thanh Residential Area, Truong Xuan Market Street Residential Area, Quang Lang Residential Area; Social housing project at the mushroom breeding farm and Social housing project at Tam Hiep Workers' Housing Area...
