Quang Nam appoints Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh as Director of Department of Information and Communications

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu spoke at the announcement conference.

At the conference, Ms. Tran Thi Kim Hoa - Director of the Department of Home Affairs announced Decision No. 2582 of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province on accepting and appointing Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh - Deputy Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee to hold the position of Director of the Department of Information and Communications. The appointment term is 5 years, starting from November 4, 2024.

Speaking at the conference, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu congratulated Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh. At the same time, he affirmed that this appointment plays an important role in the development of the province in the coming time. Especially in the field of information and communication, the highlight is the digital transformation of Quang Nam province in the new period. This is a mission to concretize the goal of best serving people and businesses in the digital age.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Quang Buu requested that in his new position, Director of the Department of Information and Communications Nguyen Duc Binh continue to promote his capacity and political qualities, build a strong collective unit, and excellently complete his tasks.

Speaking at the new assignment, Director of the Department of Information and Communications Nguyen Duc Binh said that this is a new challenge but also an opportunity for him and the Department of Information and Communications to effectively advise the Provincial People's Committee on digital transformation, building digital platforms, implementing integration, synchronization, sharing and improving the level of readiness in the digital environment as well as the fields of telecommunications and press communications.

Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh (born in 1978, from Binh Minh commune, Thang Binh district, Quang Nam province; professional qualification: Bachelor of Economics), held positions at the Office of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; in June 2015, he was appointed Deputy Chief of the Office of the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee; in September 2020, he was transferred to work as Deputy Secretary of the Thang Binh District Party Committee.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Quang Nam province Nguyen Duc Dung and Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Nam province Ho Quang Buu presented flowers to congratulate Mr. Nguyen Duc Binh and Mr. Pham Hong Quang.

The conference also announced the decision of the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to transfer Mr. Pham Hong Quang - Director of the Department of Information and Communications to work at the Quang Nam Provincial Party Committee, starting from November 4, 2024.
