Quang Nam issues directive to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of implementing the Law on Bidding

The Directive requires departments, branches, sectors; People's Committees of districts, towns, cities and state-owned enterprises, enterprises with 100% charter capital held by state-owned enterprises to increase the application of information technology in bidding to select contractors and investors, promote online bidding on the National Bidding Network System according to the prescribed roadmap; fully post information with the right responsibilities and deadlines according to the provisions of the law on bidding on the National Bidding Network System to optimize the selection of contractors and investors online, and expand the scope of information access to potential domestic and international investors.

Investors, bidding parties, interested parties, agencies and appraisal units must strictly implement the provisions of the law on bidding; in which, pay attention to speeding up the progress of organizing the selection of contractors and investors (focusing on the time for evaluating bidding documents, appraising and approving the results of selecting contractors and investors), and drafting investment and business project contracts during the process of preparing bidding documents, negotiating, signing and performing contracts.

The Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Inspectorate, inspectors of departments, branches, sectors and People's Committees of districts, towns and cities to strengthen the organization of regular inspections and examinations of bidding work according to regulations.
