Quang Binh organizes many activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day

Speaking at the launching ceremony, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Quang Binh province Mai Xuan Thanh said that this year is the 10th time Quang Binh province has organized Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in the area.

This is an opportunity to honor the value of books, affirm the role and importance of books in social life, in developing knowledge, inspiring creativity and spreading reading culture in the community.

This is also an opportunity for everyone to look back at their own, family's and society's reading habits; thereby, spreading the spirit of love for books and lifelong learning attitude - an important factor in developing high-quality human resources in the current digital transformation period.

With many practical and meaningful activities such as: seminars, exchanges, dialogues, exhibitions, storytelling competitions based on books; building grassroots bookcases; serving e-books; organizing mobile library vehicles in localities and schools, Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day has gradually created the habit and love of reading among students and all classes of people.

In particular, the 3rd “Reading Culture Ambassador” contest was organized as a useful playground, helping students demonstrate their writing skills and present their personal views on books and the value of reading. From there, they can become people who spread reading culture, playing the role of a true “ambassador” in building reading habits in society.

Within the framework of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in Quang Binh this year, activities took place such as: visiting the book display space of Quang Binh Provincial Library; exchanging with readers; learning about Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025; donating books to the Provincial Library to transfer to students in remote schools...

On this occasion, the Organizing Committee requested schools and students in the area to actively respond and participate in the "Reading Culture Ambassador" contest to achieve high results.
