Quang Binh receives 40 billion VND to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses

Responding to the emulation movement nationwide to join hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister, BIDV Bank supported Quang Binh province with 30 billion VND and MSB Bank supported 10 billion VND.

Mr. Tran Phong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received support from MSB to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

BIDV Deputy General Director Hoang Viet Hung said that in addition to 30 billion to support this meaningful program, we also support the Fund for the Poor of Quang Binh province with 3 billion VND to carry out social security work.

Speaking at the reception, Mr. Tran Phong - Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the support of BIDV and MSB banks in the joint effort to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.

Mr. Tran Phong - Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented flowers and thanked the sponsors for their companionship and support.

“In addition to the local budget, contributions from organizations, individuals and businesses are valuable resources for Quang Binh to soon eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, help people stabilize their lives and ensure social security in the area,” Mr. Tran Phong hopes.

According to a report from the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Quang Binh province: As of March 31, 2025, the whole province has started construction, built new houses, and demolished 1,273 temporary and dilapidated houses, of which 420 houses have been completed and put into use out of a total of 1,553 temporary and dilapidated houses with decisions to be supported for repair and new construction (of which, 91 households have submitted requests that were not implemented).
