Quang Binh: High consensus and agreement on implementing the arrangement of administrative units at all levels

On April 15, the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Binh province met with voters in localities before the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly.

At the meeting with voters, the representative of the National Assembly Delegation of Quang Binh province reported to voters on some contents and programs of the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly and the basic activities of the National Assembly Delegation of the province since the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly until now.

Accordingly, the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly will open on May 5 and is expected to close on June 28, 2025, conducted in 2 phases, phase 1 from May 5 to 28; phase 2 from June 11 to June 28.

At the session, the National Assembly will consider amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution and consider and pass 30 laws and 7 legal resolutions; give opinions on 6 draft laws; consider and decide on socio-economic issues, the state budget, supervision and other important issues.

At the conference, voters from all localities expressed their interest and high consensus on the policy of rearranging administrative units at all levels. Along with that, voters also hope to have appropriate regimes and policies for full-time and part-time officials at the grassroots level after the merger.

In addition, voters of Le Thuy district also proposed reviewing and amending a number of laws; strengthening supervision of the quality of agricultural products; promoting administrative procedure reform; the situation of people dumping construction materials into Kien Giang river; paying attention to farmers' lives; paying benefits to policy beneficiaries is still slow; basic construction investment work...

In Quang Ninh district, voters recommended that agencies at all levels pay attention to policies for people with revolutionary contributions and those who take care of martyrs' worship; clarify land issues in An Ninh commune; create conditions and support households adjacent to the North-South expressway; inspect and examine land handling in localities; investigate and review the settlement of policies for people with revolutionary contributions and victims of Agent Orange; pay attention to the issue of allocating production land to people in Hai Ninh commune; grant certificates of agricultural land use rights to people in Tan Ninh commune; work on corruption prevention and control; allowances for village medical staff...

In Dong Hoi city, voters made recommendations on issues related to education, health care, environment; traffic planning related to Nghia Ninh, Thuan Duc communes and Dong Son ward. Some voters proposed to resolve the problem of inadequacies in paperwork procedures for granting land use rights...

Voters in Bo Trach district also had many opinions related to the regime and policies for war invalids, families of martyrs, people with revolutionary contributions; land settlement issues; regime and policies for youth volunteers, the elderly, etc.

After listening to voters’ opinions, representatives of local leaders and the Provincial National Assembly Delegation responded to some of the voters’ petitions within their jurisdiction. The remaining opinions were received, compiled and forwarded to the relevant authorities for response and resolution according to regulations.
