Mr. Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee, was elected by the Provincial People's Council as Chairman of Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
This morning (December 11), at the 19th session of the 18th Quang Binh Provincial People's Council, term 2021-2026, Mr. Tran Phong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of Dong Hoi City Party Committee was officially elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Committee.
Quang Binh Provincial Party Secretary Le Ngoc Quang presented flowers to congratulate the new Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Phong.
This session of the Quang Binh Provincial People's Council focused on reviewing, discussing and resolving many important issues related to personnel work. The Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council submitted to the Provincial People's Council to elect Mr. Tran Phong, Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Dong Hoi City Party Committee as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term.
With absolute consensus (100%) of the delegates, Mr. Tran Phong officially assumed the position of Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Binh province, term 2021-2026.
At the meeting, the People's Council of Quang Binh province also approved the dismissal of Mr. Tran Thang from the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.
Mr. Thang has been assigned by the Secretariat to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Central Enterprises Bloc for the 2020-2025 term.
Yesterday (December 10), the Executive Committee of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee also held a conference and elected Mr. Tran Phong, Secretary of the Dong Hoi City Party Committee, as Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee with 100% of the votes in favor.
The Secretariat also issued an official dispatch agreeing to nominate Mr. Tran Phong to be elected as Deputy Secretary of the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee.
Mr. Tran Phong (born in 1974, from Quang Phuong commune, Quang Trach); has a high level of political theory and a master's degree in economics. Before taking on the position of Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Phong held many positions, such as: Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Bo Trach district; Permanent Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Commission; Director of the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Secretary of the Dong Hoi City Party Committee.
