Promote destination image through sports tournaments

The off-road sports tournament is organized as part of a series of events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the liberation of Binh Thuan province (April 19, 1975 - April 19, 2025) and the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

Mr. Huynh Ngoc Tam - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, said: This year's Binh Thuan Province Open Off-Road Motorcycle Race has gathered many excellent domestic and international athletes, bringing dramatic competitions, high-speed and technical races. This is not only a big festival for those who love off-road sports but also an opportunity to promote the natural beauty and people of Binh Thuan to domestic and international friends.

Bau Trang is a picnic area that is attracting many tourists to explore and experience, with double roads, white sand dunes and beautiful lakes of Binh Thuan homeland to organize the Sand Motorcycle Race: "Bau Trang Enduro 2025".

The adventure sport tournament brought many exciting emotions to visitors . The tournament included Class A for enduro/cross off-road vehicles with 4-stroke engines ≥ 250, 2-stroke ≥ 125 ; Class B for enduro/cross off-road vehicles with 4-stroke engines ≤ 250, 2-stroke ≤ 125 and Class C for enduro/cross off-road vehicles with 4-stroke engines over 500cc.

Not just a simple sports tournament, the Organizing Committee has set aside funds to award 30 scholarships to poor local students.

Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Ngoc Tam added that the organization of sports tournaments aims to continue promoting the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho" in the period of 2021 - 2030. Besides encouraging and motivating the movement of practicing off-road motorbikes; creating a playground and exchanging techniques of driving off-road motorbikes.

In recent times, Binh Thuan has organized many highly professional sports tournaments such as: Triathlon cycling (swimming, cycling and running), marathons, world billiards tournaments... contributing to soon building Binh Thuan into a national and international sea sports and tourism center.

Sports tournaments with well-organized events have contributed to promoting the landscapes, lands, culture and people of Binh Thuan to domestic and foreign friends.
