Promoting tourism associated with Tea culture on the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen railway line

On the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen train route, a multimedia system has been installed on the train cars to introduce the tea culture and attractive destinations of the province. Passengers on the train will have the opportunity to learn about the history, processing and enjoying Thai Nguyen tea through vivid photo and video documents.

In addition, at the stations, especially Thai Nguyen station, a tea culture space has been built, combining the display and introduction of the province's typical OCOP products. Tourists stopping at the station can experience tea and use the products right at the introduction area.

In addition, Thai Nguyen tea products and OCOP products of the province have been introduced into the station system and widely promoted on digital platforms of Vietnam Railways Corporation. This helps to enhance brand recognition and strengthen the presence of Thai Nguyen tea in the market.

In addition to promotion, Vietnam Railways Corporation and Thai Nguyen province have renovated the landscape along the railway by planting seasonal flowers and developing scenic tea areas, creating green tourism highlights.

In particular, trial trains from Hanoi to Thai Nguyen have been organized with the participation of travel agencies. Through the quality of services and tourism products on the train, these partners will build attractive tour packages, contributing to attracting tourists to Thai Nguyen.

According to Deputy General Director of Vietnam Railways Corporation Nguyen Chinh Nam, with the desire to restore the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen passenger train route, the Corporation is closely coordinating with Thai Nguyen province to bring this railway line back into effective operation, not only serving travel needs but also associated with tourism development and promoting Thai Nguyen tea culture.

Vietnam Railways Corporation will organize specialized tourist trains such as "Tea Ceremony", tea village sightseeing train; coordinate with travel companies, accommodation establishments, and tourist areas inside and outside the province to develop cooperation policies, bringing tourists to Thai Nguyen by rail; introduce tea products and typical OCOP products of Thai Nguyen at the station system and on digital platforms of the Railway industry...

With these strategic steps, Thai Nguyen is affirming its position as an attractive destination on the Vietnam tourism map, bringing visitors rich, unique experiences imbued with the cultural identity of Tea.
