The above content was implemented in the program "Meeting and connecting trade between Binh Thuan and Korean tourism businesses" which took place in Phan Thiet City on the afternoon of March 19, 2025. Accordingly, Mr. Bui The Nhan - Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan and Mr. Lee Chang Kun (Ly Xuong Can) - Vietnam Tourism Ambassador in Korea signed this agreement. Through cooperation, the two sides aim for stable and long-term development, especially in promoting and advertising destinations in the Korean market.

Specifically, the two sides agreed to set up a hotline to grasp the problems of Korean tourists and promptly resolve their difficulties. With the Tourism Promotion Representative Office (Vietnam National Tourism Administration in Korea) - the agency in charge of promoting and advertising Vietnamese tourism in Korea, a database will be built on major tourist destinations in Binh Thuan. Along with that, information on tourism businesses will be shared with Korean travel companies, related organizations and tourists as well as strengthen promotional activities here. Meanwhile, the local tourism industry will actively coordinate to provide relevant information and necessary items for cooperation in promoting Binh Thuan destinations.

The agreement also mentions the joint efforts of both sides to promote medium- and long-term cultural exchange projects and investment promotion between local authorities, organizations and enterprises of the two countries. During the implementation process, the Tourism Promotion Representative Office will also cooperate with projects to support promotional activities in Korea of Binh Thuan tourism enterprises. In addition, it will cooperate to promote on Korean social networks through Korean celebrities, and promote promotional activities on media, television, etc.

It is known that Korean tourists love beach resorts, golf tourism, water sports, exploring local culture... and this is also one of the important tourist markets of Vietnam in general, Binh Thuan in particular. With the current destination, Binh Thuan has invested in a number of high-end tourism products, which can meet the needs of Korean visitors such as: Golf (there is 1 PGA standard golf course, 1 golf course that according to famous experts and commentators in the world, this is the most difficult coastal golf course in Asia), high-class beach resorts, sea sports tourism, terrain sports tourism...
In recent times, Binh Thuan has also focused on promoting the development of ecotourism products such as forests - waterfalls - lakes - islands, nature conquest tourism, adventure tourism, agricultural ecotourism. Or community tourism combined with homestay, health care tourism (Wellness), combining tourism with meetings, awards, seminars, events (MICE) ... thereby contributing to the development of green and sustainable tourism.
It can be said that with the advantage of natural landscape, long beautiful beaches, mild climate all year round, Binh Thuan is effectively promoting and gradually affirming itself as one of the top attractive destinations in Vietnam. And with the promotion of the brand, the image of "blue sea - white sand - golden sunshine" in Korea will be an opportunity for Binh Thuan to attract more and more visitors from the land of kimchi, for long-term vacations and higher spending...
