Seeing the life-threatening situation for the mother and baby, Lieutenant Colonel Do Xuan Ky and Senior Lieutenant Vu Kim Duc immediately did not hesitate and quickly helped the mother give birth successfully on the road.
Although they only had razor blades, sewing thread and two towels lent by nearby people, the two men quickly delivered the baby and used thread to tie the two ends of the umbilical cord, cutting the umbilical cord for the baby. Immediately afterwards, the ambulance and military doctors of the 326th Military Economic Group promptly took the mother and baby to Sop Cop District Hospital for further examination by doctors. It is known that the mother's name is Giang Thi Si, born in 2002, her husband is from Pa Ven village, Muong Cai commune, Song Ma district, Son La province.
The actions of the medical comrades of Military Economic Group 326 left a good impression on the hearts of local people.
