Identifying the building of cultural families as a central and continuous task, the Steering Committee of the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" of Thanh Thuy commune has actively propagated and widely disseminated to the people the criteria for recognizing cultural families. Including the criteria for building cultural families in the village's covenants and regulations for people to implement. At the same time, the criteria for building a cultural family are linked to the content of movements such as: "Building a prosperous, equal, progressive, happy family", "Family of 5 no's, 3 clean", implementing a civilized lifestyle in weddings, funerals and festivals... Along with that, the commune encourages residential areas to establish clubs, art and sports teams; invest in building cultural and sports facilities, creating places for people to live and meet. Every year, the commune and organizations regularly organize cultural and sports exchange activities to celebrate major national holidays, attracting a large number of union members, members and people to participate.

Ms. Trinh Thi Thu Hien, Vice Chairman of Thanh Thuy Commune People's Committee, said: With the attention and direction of all levels, branches, local authorities and the responsibility of the community, the movement "All people unite to build a cultural life" has achieved many positive results, creating a solid foundation for socio-economic development. In 2024, the rate of cultural families in the commune reached 98.4%, 7/8 residential areas achieved the title of culture (reaching 87.5%). The implementation of civilized lifestyles in weddings, funerals and festivals has many changes. Cultural and sports activities are regularly maintained by residential areas on holidays, Tet, and national solidarity day; the rate of people regularly exercising and playing sports reached 65%. In addition, the poverty rate of the commune decreased to 0.69%; the average income per capita reached 63 million VND/person/year. Through the movement, community solidarity is increasingly consolidated and strengthened. Social security activities and care for people in difficult circumstances are focused on. Statistics for the Lunar New Year 2025 alone, the commune received 1,357 gifts worth more than 467 million VND and 220kg of rice to donate to policy beneficiaries and people in difficult circumstances...

In addition, Thanh Thuy also pays special attention to the work of preserving, maintaining and promoting traditional cultural values through the restoration and embellishment of relics and festivals. The traditional festival of Vu Co Dai Vuong Temple, held by the commune on the 15th day of the second lunar month every year, is a major festival of the local people. In addition to the ceremony performed according to traditional rituals, one of the highlights of the festival is the boat racing on the Day River. This is one of the typical cultural festivals of Thanh Thuy people every New Year. Here, along with the boat racing festival, other folk games also attract the attention of the people such as chess, chess, table tennis, badminton, etc. Organizing the traditional festival of Vu Co Dai Vuong Temple in 2025 is an opportunity for villagers to express their sincere hearts towards their roots with gratitude, praying for protection, for a bountiful harvest, peace and prosperity.
