Recently, a working delegation led by Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to policy beneficiaries, meritorious people and presented new houses in the joint program "Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025 in Di An City.
Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to individuals and families, including: People's Armed Forces Hero Nguyen Duc Nghia (An Binh Ward); Mr. O Phuc Binh, former officer of Thu Dau Mot Special Forces Team (Dong Hoa Ward); Labor Hero in the Renovation Period Huynh Thanh Son, former Director of Binh Duong Construction Materials Company (Binh Thang Ward).
At each destination, the members of the delegation kindly asked about the health and current economic life of the families of those who contributed to the revolution. On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed his deep gratitude to the families, and emphasized that today's and future generations will always remember the great contributions of the families who contributed to the revolution, the heroic martyrs, wounded and sick soldiers, who did not spare their blood and bones, sacrificed their youth and health to protect the independence of the nation.
Previously, at the joint program "Eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses" in 2025, the delegation also attended the ceremony to hand over a new house to Mr. Tran Van Chau, Binh Minh 2 quarter, Di An ward. The house was built with a total cost of 157 million VND, of which the Fund for the Poor of Di An city supported 100 million VND; Di An ward supported 27 million VND and socialized 30 million VND.
Also as part of activities to care for policy beneficiaries and meritorious people on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, the delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Van Danh, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, visited and presented gifts; and attended the groundbreaking ceremony to hand over houses to meritorious people and the poor in Bac Tan Uyen district.
Accordingly, the delegation visited and presented gifts to 5 policy beneficiaries and meritorious people in Bac Tan Uyen district, including: Heroic Vietnamese Mother Doan Thi Cheo (Tan Binh town); Mr. Nguyen Van Nghia, former Squad Leader of Phu Loi Battalion during the resistance war against the US (Tan Binh town); Major General Vo Quyet Chien, former Deputy Chief of Politics of Military Region 7, currently living in My Duc hamlet, Binh My commune; Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhanh, former soldier of the Special Forces Team (Binh My commune) and Ms. Duong Thi Hien Xuan, former soldier of the Special Forces Team (Hieu Liem commune).
At each destination, on behalf of the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Van Danh sent his regards, as well as expressed his deep and sincere gratitude for the soldiers' dedication in the struggle for national independence. The provincial leaders also wished that the comrades would always take care of their health, continue to be a shining example for their descendants to follow; at the same time, continue to promote the tradition of Uncle Ho's soldiers, contributing to the development of the locality.
On this occasion, the delegation also attended the house handover ceremony for Mr. Nguyen Van Be's family in Chanh Hung hamlet, Hieu Liem commune. Mr. Be is a meritorious person, a resistance cadre who was imprisoned by the enemy. The delegation also attended the groundbreaking ceremony to repair the house for Mr. Nguyen Van Dao's family in Chanh Hung hamlet, Hieu Liem commune.
Speaking at the ceremony to hand over a new house to Mr. Tran Van Chau (Di An ward), Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, said that the implementation of new construction and repair of houses for policy families, meritorious people, poor households, and near-poor households in localities in the province is taking place very urgently, on schedule. The cooperation from socialized capital sources and sectors and organizations such as the Red Cross, Women's Union, Youth Union, cadres and civil servants of the armed forces, cadres, civil servants, and public employees in the whole province contributing 1 working day has contributed to practically completing the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Prime Minister. |
