On December 3rd, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, including delegates Bui Manh Khoa, full-time member of the National Assembly 's Law Committee; Tran Van Thuc, Provincial Party Committee member and Director of the Department of Education and Training; and Vo Manh Son, Provincial Party Committee member and Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor, met with voters in Quan Son and Quan Hoa districts following the 8th session of the 15th National Assembly.

During the meetings, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation informed voters about the results of the 8th Session of the 15th National Assembly; the activities of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation during the session; and announced the results of addressing opinions and recommendations from voters in Quan Son and Quan Hoa districts submitted to the Provincial National Assembly Delegation in previous meetings.

Voters in Quan Son and Quan Hoa districts expressed their joy at the resolutions passed by the National Assembly at the session. They also highly appreciated the quality of work of the National Assembly deputies and the Thanh Hoa Provincial Delegation, who have effectively fulfilled their role as elected representatives and made significant contributions to the development of mechanisms and policies during the session.

In a democratic and frank spirit, voters in the districts reflected on issues arising from real-life situations and requested the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies to consider and recommend that competent authorities examine and resolve a number of issues raised.

Specifically, voters in Quan Son district petitioned the National Assembly and the Government to adopt a policy of building official housing for officials and civil servants who are transferred or rotated to work far from home. They also requested attention to allocating funds for the construction of three emergency resettlement areas affected by natural disasters, to quickly stabilize the lives of affected people. Furthermore, they requested investment in repairing and upgrading the 6-kilometer border patrol road from Tam Thanh commune to border marker H5, as the road has seriously deteriorated.

Representative Bui Manh Khoa, a full-time member of the National Assembly's Law Committee, spoke to acknowledge the opinions and suggestions of voters in Quan Son district.
Voters in Quan Son district requested that the National Assembly pay attention to supporting students in remote and disadvantaged communes who have recently emerged from extreme poverty to attend school. They also requested that the Government direct the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Finance to coordinate and promptly submit to the Government a plan for the arrangement of the Quan Son District Police headquarters (former location) in Ward 4, Son Lu town, by transferring it to local management and handling.

During the meeting, voters in Quan Hoa district requested that the Government Inspectorate promptly issue a conclusion on the inspection of the Hoi Xuan hydropower plant so that the district and Thanh Hoa province can quickly coordinate with relevant units to implement the next steps and stabilize the lives of people in the area affected by the unfinished construction project.

We propose that the competent authorities consider mechanisms and policies to enable vocational education and continuing education centers to benefit from national target programs; and promptly issue guidelines defining the criteria for "low-income workers" so that localities have a basis for implementing vocational training support policies under the National Target Program for Sustainable Poverty Reduction giai đoạn 2021 - 2025.

This road will connect trade and promote economic development between Quan Hoa district, Thanh Hoa province, and Van Ho and Moc Chau districts (Son La province), shortening the distance (nearly 50km) and reducing transportation costs for goods from Son La province to the Nghi Son Economic Zone...
