Vietnam Idol 2023 Champion - Ha An Huy returns with debut EP 'N|

In early 2025, Vietnam Idol 2023 Champion - Ha An Huy officially marked his return with a special music project: his debut EP called 'N|, including his favorite songs.

EP 'N| includes 7 songs: "I Miss You", "Vàng em", "Sieulieuphieu", "Anhuyungdung", "Pingpong", "Ngã hai đường", "Follow Up". Of which, "I Miss You" and "Vàng em" appeared in the popular dating show Dao Thien Duong recently. "Follow Up" is also loved by the audience when it became the theme song for the show Dancing with the Stars 2024. This is a new musical experiment and was written by Ha An Huy specifically for Dancing with the Stars 2024.

Explaining the name of the EP, Ha An Huy said: “'N| is the logo that I reversed from the word IN. IN in English means both 'welcome' or 'in'. I want to emphasize that I want to welcome everyone to the special music world in this EP. The small opening dash symbolizes a door, with nothing to close it. It's like inviting everyone to visit for free. The letter N is a summary of this EP. The ups and downs of the letter N are also a metaphor for the ups and downs of my music career.

For example, the 2022 period was an uptrend when I won Big Song Big Deal, then a downtrend because I struggled in my career. By 2023, I was thriving at Vietnam Idol, which was equivalent to an uptrend. And the last dash, like a dividing wall, is considered the end point, the private room for this EP."

Ha An Huy was silent for a long time before returning with a new music product.

In the EP 'N|, there are collaborative songs between Ha An Huy and Korean musicians Doko, Siha such as "I Miss You", Min Seon in the song "Vang em". Therefore, in addition to collaborating with domestic producers such as HINO, Nguyen Ho Hieu, Dau Tat Dat,... Ha An Huy also went through many challenging working processes with a Korean production team to release the highest quality and most meticulous songs through the recording process at musician Doko's studio. It is known that Doko is a talented musician, who has composed OSTs for famous Korean films. This is also the first time Ha An Huy has worked with such a foreign team.

Sharing about the new milestone in his career, Ha An Huy said that since being crowned Vietnam Idol, he has never been in a hurry about his musical path. For a whole year, he was quiet, not wanting to do anything too reckless or hasty. “I need time to think about who I am, where I belong, what my musical color is... And in the past year, I have classified what kind of personality I will have now, how to exploit it. But when I feel that everything is not deep enough, I still cannot do it” - the male singer shared.

Ha An Huy believes that if he released a product right after winning Vietnam Idol, he would feel unsatisfied. He needs to observe and monitor the music market around him, and realize that his music is not really suitable. During that time, he himself was not confident about his music. He himself admitted that he composed a lot, but there was no connection or chaining together to release, so he did not dare to invest. Until now, after choosing 7 songs from a series of compositions, realizing what he wanted, he thought this was the right time to give the audience an answer about Ha An Huy's silence.

Talking about releasing music in the near future During Tet, when people listen to more Tet songs, Ha An Huy said he doesn't calculate anything when releasing music.

“I just know that my fans have waited for me for so long, and I need to repay them. When planning to produce and release the EP, I didn't think about what I would get in return, so I didn't put too much emphasis on achievements. That's also the reason why I chose 'Anhuyungdung' as the main song in the EP, clearly showing my professional perspective of always being leisurely and carefree in music" - Ha An Huy said.
