At the final round of the Road to Olympia 2023, Le Xuan Manh (grade 12, Ham Rong High School - Thanh Hoa) surpassed 3 other competitors to win the championship with a total score of 220 points. This is also the first time Thanh Hoa has had a student win this competition.
Mr. Do Trong Hung, Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, praised and congratulated Xuan Manh on winning the championship title and the prestigious laurel wreath, bringing glory to his homeland and making famous the tradition of "Thanh - the land of learning and mandarin exams".
He also highly appreciated the efforts of the provincial Department of Education and Training, Ham Rong High School, teachers who participated in the consultation, friends, and family, contributing to Manh's glorious and proud achievements today.

"The achievements that Xuan Manh and many other excellent students of our province have achieved in recent times are truly valuable and we are very proud of them," he said.
Mr. Hung requested that all levels and units of the province continue to thoroughly grasp the Party and State's policies and viewpoints on fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training; focus on leading and directing the removal of difficulties, shortcomings, and "bottlenecks", creating a breakthrough in the quality of education in localities and the whole province.
The Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee hopes that Xuan Manh will not be subjective, satisfied, or content with the results achieved, but will always cultivate qualities and ethics, strive to excel in studying and scientific research, continue to conquer new heights of knowledge, and contribute to building the homeland and country to be more prosperous and happy.
With this achievement, Thanh Hoa province decided to award 200 million VND to Le Xuan Manh; awarded a Certificate of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 1 collective and 6 individuals of Ham Rong High School for their achievements in guiding Xuan Manh to win the championship in the Road to Olympia competition in 2023.
In addition, the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education also awarded 60 million VND. Thus, the amount Xuan Manh received was 260 million VND.
Xuan Manh won the 2023 Olympia championship with a prize worth 50,000 USD (about 1.2 billion VND).
The new champion of Road to Olympia 2023, Le Xuan Manh, thanked the attention of provincial leaders, the education sector, and teachers who have always supported and created both material and spiritual conditions for him to maximize his intellectual capacity and shine on the path to conquering the pinnacle of knowledge.
Manh also showed his determination to always try, make constant efforts, practice ethics, and cultivate knowledge on the journey to realize his dream, responding to the trust of teachers, provincial leaders, and education sector, worthy of being a son of Thanh land with a rich tradition of studiousness.
Yesterday morning (October 8), the final match of the Road to Olympia 2023 ended with a thrilling victory for Le Xuan Manh. The champion was awarded a prize of 50,000 USD (about 1.2 billion VND). This prize is not awarded in cash, but is converted into tuition and living expenses when the contestant studies abroad.
The second prize of Road to Olympia 2023 worth 200 million VND belongs to Nguyen Trong Thanh, Tran Phu High School for the Gifted (Hai Phong), the third prize worth 100 million VND belongs to Nguyen Minh Triet, Quoc Hoc Hue High School for the Gifted (Thua Thien - Hue) and Nguyen Viet Thanh, Soc Son High School (Hanoi).
