The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a decision approving the results of the digital transformation index (DTI) rankings of departments, branches, district People's Committees and Thu Duc City in 2024.
In the group of units providing public services, units not providing public services, and vertical industries, scores are assessed in 6 areas including: digital awareness, digital institutions, digital infrastructure, digital human resources, network information security, and digital transformation activities.
Specifically, in the group of units providing public services, the top 3 units in order are the City's Export Processing and Industrial Zones Management Board, the Department of Information and Communications, and the Department of Home Affairs.
Thus, compared to 2023, the Ho Chi Minh City Export Processing and Industrial Zones Authority has led the DTI index for two consecutive years. Meanwhile, in 2023, the City Department of Information and Communications ranked 3rd this year and has risen to 2nd place.
The unit with the lowest DTI index in 2024 is the Department of Food Safety.

As a result, the top 5 units are Phu Nhuan District, District 1, Thu Duc City, Binh Tan, District 10 respectively. Thus, Phu Nhuan District has led the rankings for two consecutive years. Meanwhile, Thu Duc City, which was second in 2023, ranked 3rd this year. District 1, which was in 5th place, rose to 2nd place.
The 5 units with the lowest index in 2024 are Can Gio district, Binh Thanh district, district 5, Cu Chi district and Tan Phu district, respectively.
