(Haiphong.gov.vn) – On the morning of March 11, the Enforcement Implementation Board of Ngo Quyen District organized propaganda, mobilization, and dialogue with households and individuals who have not yet complied with the handover of land for the implementation of the Social Housing Project at Warehouse 3 Lac Vien (No. 142 Le Lai), May Chai Ward and Cau Tre Ward, Ngo Quyen District. Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District Le Chuong - Head of the Enforcement Implementation Board of the District chaired the meeting.

The Social Housing Project at Lac Vien Warehouse 3 implements land acquisition for 16.91 hectares, affecting 07 organizations and 98 households and individuals with a construction scale of 10 blocks of 15-storey apartment buildings, a total of about 4,456 social housing apartments and about 163 commercial apartments of 07 floors and a synchronous infrastructure system with neighboring residential areas. The project's objective is to develop housing area in Ngo Quyen district, meet the housing needs of people, especially people in old apartment buildings in Ngo Quyen district, Hong Bang district and ensure the environment, create landscapes for urban residents; improve land use efficiency, save urban land funds and provide centralized services to serve people's lives. Contribute to ensuring social security in the city.

Since October 2022, the People's Committee of Ngo Quyen District has actively implemented the procedures for land acquisition to implement the Project, approved compensation, support and resettlement plans to ensure compliance with legal regulations. Up to now, the Project has received great support from officials, Party members and people as well as organizations and enterprises with 94/98 households and 07/07 organizations having handed over the site to the Investor to implement the Project. For the remaining 04 households in May Chai Ward, the People's Committee of the District has directed the entire political system from the district to the ward to continue to propagate and mobilize households to support the city's land acquisition policy, and have a correct and full awareness of the State's land acquisition policies and regimes.

Through active propaganda, mobilization, and direct dialogue, by March 11, 2024, there were 02/04 households comply with the handover of the site. In case of disagreement, the District People's Committee will organize the compulsory land recovery from 07:30 on March 12, 2024 according to the policy of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee in Official Dispatch No. 1967-TB/TU dated February 7, 2024, of the City People's Committee in Official Dispatch No. 356/UBND-DC2 dated February 21, 2024 and Notice No. 62/TB-UBND dated March 8, 2024; hand over the entire site to the Investor to implement the Project according to regulations.
