Over half a century of ties, Vietnam-Singapore relations have made great strides, based on deep political trust and positive economic and trade relations. On the occasion of the Singaporean Prime Minister's visit to Vietnam from August 27 to 29, Singaporean Ambassador Jaya Ratnam gave an interview to a news agency reporter about the significance of the visit as well as areas of cooperation between the two countries in the coming time.
