At the training session, 140 comrades who are commanders, managers, logistics officers, and military medical staff of the 34th Corps listened to teachers introduce training contents on occupational safety and hygiene and prevention of heatstroke and sunstroke, such as: General issues of heatstroke and sunstroke; prevention of heatstroke and sunstroke at the unit; recognition of signs, symptoms and extent of damage caused by heat; on-site first aid when soldiers have heatstroke and sunstroke; updated diagnosis and preventive treatment of meningococcal meningitis; food safety at the unit; electrical safety techniques, lightning protection and preventive measures.

Speaking at the training session, Colonel Ha Viet Lien emphasized that the knowledge at the training conference will help commanders, managers, logistics officers, and military medical staff of agencies and units improve their knowledge and practical skills on regulations in implementing occupational safety and hygiene and preventing and combating sunstroke and heatstroke; do a good job of advising and directly handling situations during the learning and training process, contributing to strengthening occupational safety and hygiene and protecting and taking care of soldiers' health.

The teaching team needs to prepare the lessons carefully, thoughtfully, and in accordance with the principles and requirements set out. The students must strictly follow the regulations, participate fully in the course, grasp the content, and closely link theory and practice to apply them closely to the practical situation at the agency or unit.

After the training, agencies and units develop plans to organize training at their level, and then implement it uniformly throughout the Corps.
