Việt NamViệt Nam21/03/2025

In order to implement the strategy of improving risk management capacity, ensuring safety and efficiency in production and business activities, on March 18, 2025, PTSC Supply Base deployed a series of activities to promote "Effective Risk Management", aiming to apply international standards, in sync with the Risk Management system of PTSC Corporation. This is also part of the plan to strengthen risk control to meet the increasingly high management requirements in the oil and gas logistics and renewable energy industry. The activity deployed on the first day of this series of activities was a meeting to review Risk Management and the Technical Training Program on Risk Assessment and Analysis according to ISO 31010:2019. The working and training program had the participation of the Risk Management and Insurance Department - Safety and Quality Department (ATCL) of the Corporation, representatives of the Leadership, heads/deputy heads of departments and personnel in charge of QTRR of PTSC Supply Base. ATCL Department plays a focal role in guiding and implementing QTRR work at the unit.

In the context of an increasingly complex business environment, risk management is not only a compliance requirement but also a core, important factor ensuring the sustainable development of the enterprise. Realizing this, PTSC Supply Base has coordinated with the General Corporation's Safety and Quality Management Board to proactively implement a training program to improve awareness and risk management capacity for the management team and personnel at the unit. At the training session, the Safety and Quality Board provided detailed instructions on preparing the Risk Appetite Declaration, Risk Acceptance Level, Risk Measurement, how to implement the Risk Registration File, and Periodic Risk Management Report. At the same time, it provided instructions on risk assessment and analysis techniques commonly applied in the process of implementing Risk Management at the Unit. Through real-life situations, participating departments had the opportunity to discuss and practice risk assessment methods and techniques to enhance control and minimize negative impacts from potential risks.

After the process of deploying and applying the Corporation's risk management system, with specific guidance from the ATCL Board, PTSC Supply Base will proceed to build a risk management system suitable for the characteristics of the Unit. The development of documents helps ensure consistency in management orientation, while enhancing proactiveness in risk control and handling. The training program not only focuses on theory but also creates conditions for members to participate in practicing risk assessment through practical situational exercises. Identifying, evaluating and providing response plans based on real scenarios helps the leadership team and key personnel improve their flexible response skills, proactively controlling uncertain factors that affect the goals of production and business activities. Speaking after the meeting and training program, the representative of PTSC Supply Base emphasized: “Risk management is not the responsibility of a single department but the shared responsibility of the entire Company. We are committed to continuing to improve the risk management system, ensuring compliance, safety and efficiency in all activities.” The training session ended with specific commitments from the participating departments, aiming to apply risk management methods in a more professional and effective manner. This is an important step demonstrating PTSC Supply Base's initiative in building a safe working environment, strict risk control and sustainable development.
