Prudential Vietnam first launched the flat-price insurance shop model with fees starting from only 2,000 VND per month.

Ho Chi Minh City, November 29, 2023 - Prudential Vietnam Life Insurance Company Limited (Prudential) continues to expand its online insurance product portfolio with PRU-DYNAMIC, an insurance product with a completely new model - "flat-rate insurance shop", helping customers flexibly choose and personalize protection options to suit their needs.

According to the "Empowering Aspirations" survey conducted by Prudential in Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, 64% of respondents are worried about how they will handle their future if something unfortunate happens. And more than 60% of respondents are planning large sums of money for health and income-related emergencies. Notably, 74% of respondents in Generation Y (born 1981-1996) and 49% of Generation Z (born 1997-2012) have financial provisions for unexpected risks that may occur. It can be seen that today's young generation is increasingly interested in contingency plans for unforeseen risks.

Understanding the needs of customers, especially young customers, Prudential offers online insurance products PRU-DYNAMIC focusing on personalizing the experience, with the "flat-rate insurance shop" model appearing for the first time on the market.

Notably, the "flat-rate insurance shop" has a fee of only 2,000 - 5,000 VND/month at the time of launch, customers can receive insurance benefits from 10 million to 50 million VND. Accordingly, insurance benefits and insurance amounts are designed for each age group, helping customers flexibly choose the protection method suitable for their protection needs. In particular, diverse and attractive benefit packages will continue to be updated by Prudential at the "flat-rate insurance shop" in the near future.

PRU-DYNAMIC offers many protection benefits, "packaged" into 8 insurance packages, meeting different needs, allowing customers to proactively choose many protection options that best suit their needs in just one insurance contract. Specifically:

Distributed on a digital platform, customers can easily choose to buy PRU-DYNAMIC and track contract information conveniently and quickly. The product is currently available on the Epru online shopping portal (e.prudnetial.com.vn) and the MED247 application. Customers will experience "shopping" for insurance products with the same price from only 2,000 VND/month according to their protection needs (*).

At the same time, Prudential also launched PRU-JOY - an insurance solution that helps customers reduce financial burden and feel more secure against worries about hospitalization/surgery/cancer with insurance premiums starting from just over 700 VND/day, maximum protection of up to 10 years (*). This is a simple and accessible insurance product, supporting medical examination and treatment costs in the context that patients have to pay about 40% of medical examination and treatment costs themselves, the rest from health insurance and it is expected that by the end of 2024, the price of medical examination and treatment services is expected to increase by 9% (**).
