Admission method combines academic scores and exam scores

On the afternoon of April 16, the Chairman of the Admissions Council of Nha Trang University announced the enrollment of full-time university students in 2025. This year, the school plans to enroll 3,800 students by combining high school academic results and university academic ability assessment results.

Regarding preliminary selection, the school uses the high school academic results in 6 semesters of the subject group for each training program.

Regarding admission, candidates can use one or more admission methods to a major/training program. Admission methods include:

Method 1 is direct admission and priority admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training.

Method 2 is admission based on the capacity assessment score of Ho Chi Minh City National University and the capacity assessment score of Hanoi National University in 2025.

Method 3 is admission based on high school graduation exam scores in 2025.

In which, with method 3, the school organizes admission to training programs/majors according to the prescribed admission combination. In which, most majors have a coefficient of 2 math subjects in the admission combination. Two options for candidates with international English certificates

With the 2025 high school graduation exam score review method, candidates with an international English certificate (IELTS) have 2 options: convert it into an English subject score in the admission combination or add incentive points to the total admission score.

For the admission method based on the capacity assessment score of Ho Chi Minh City National University and Hanoi National University in 2025, the regulations on bonus points for candidates with IELTS certificates are as follows:

Specifically, including: food quality assurance and safety; majors: embedded systems and IoT in the field of mechatronics engineering, electromechanical engineering in the field of thermal engineering. Special training program: finance-banking. Programs ordered from businesses: seafood processing technology (Hai Vuong - NTU program), Vietnam - Japan information technology (special training program), smart seafood mechanics (Minh Phu - NTU program).
