On the morning of April 19, Tay Ho district informed about the plan to rearrange administrative units. Accordingly, Tay Ho district will establish 2 basic administrative units: Tay Ho and Phu Thuong.

Specifically, the Tay Ho administrative unit has a natural area of ​​10.56 ^km2 . population of 93,595 people. Administrative boundaries include the entire area and population of the wards: Buoi (Tay Ho); most of the natural area and population of the wards: Thuy Khue, Xuan La, Quang An (Tay Ho); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Phu Thuong, Nhat Tan, Tu Lien, Yen Phu (Tay Ho); Nghia Do (Cau Giay).

With Phu Thuong basic administrative unit: Natural area ^7.25km2 , population 64,258 people. Administrative boundaries: Most of the natural area and population of Phu Thuong ward (Tay Ho); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Xuan La (Tay Ho), Xuan Tao, Dong Ngac, Xuan Dinh (Bac Tu Liem).

According to the arrangement plan of Hanoi City People's Committee, part of the natural area and population of Phu Thuong, Nhat Tan, Quang An, Tu Lien, and Yen Phu wards will be transferred to the Hong Ha administrative unit.

Late in the afternoon of April 18, Chairman of Tay Ho District People's Committee Nguyen Dinh Khuyen issued instructions on organizing the collection of public opinions on the arrangement of ward administrative units in the district and to be completed no later than 11:00 a.m. on April 21, 2025.

Tay Ho District requests that departments and offices under the district urgently direct, monitor and grasp the ideological situation of cadres, party members and people in the process of implementing the reorganization of administrative units at all levels and building a two-level local government model; synthesize the results of public opinion collection across the district and complete it immediately on April 22, 2025.
