Phuong My Chi does not receive any salary for acting in MVs for young artists.

Recently, Phuong My Chi attracted attention when she appeared in the MV "Talented Screenwriter" by Gen Z singer Haley. Although it was just a guest role, appearing for a short time, the appearance of the "folk singer" in another singer's MV surprised many people.

Phuong My Chi revealed: "I acted in this MV without any compensation, but I'm still happy because I can help a younger brother that I appreciate. This is a promising singer and above all, her passion and dedication to her profession makes me see myself there."

Haley is a student of the music production group DTAP, having studied and trained for 5 years as a trainee. The Gen Z singer said that during the 5 years of working together, she has learned and gained a lot of experience in music production as well as composing.

The song "The talented screenwriter" belongs to the pop house genre, inspired by a common story of couples in love. With witty, familiar lyrics, a cheerful, catchy melody, the song is considered to have a strong Gen Z vibe. The MV also features Hoang Hai (Mr World Vietnam contestant) as the male lead.

"When the DTAP brothers reminded me that "music must be you, express who you are, no need to show off, simple things will touch the audience's hearts", I sat down and started with melodies and lyrics that come from the person inside me", Haley shared.

Haley said her name is Ho Thi Ngoc Ha, so when choosing her stage name, she spent a lot of time to make sure it didn't overlap with another singer's stage name. Soon, she will release a complete album, showing her determination to pursue music seriously.
