Phuong Linh reveals for the first time the story of 'stopping playing' with Ha Anh Tuan

On June 2, singer Phuong Linh shared a story about being angry with her boyfriend, which some netizens assumed was Ha Anh Tuan, making her angry. She affirmed that she never mentioned any colleague on her personal page except her younger sister Phuong Ly.

"Mentioning other people's names to cheaply polish your reputation and lower yourself. I'm not that kind of person," the singer wrote.

Regarding her relationship with singer Ha Anh Tuan - one half of the most beloved singing duo in Vietnamese music, Phuong Linh said they have not sung together for a long time.

Some organizations invited the duet Ha Anh Tuan - Phuong Linh to reunite, but she asked her manager to politely decline because of a busy schedule.

"It's not that I'm arrogant, the truth is there's no reason to sing together anymore," she said.

When they became famous as a harmonious singing duo, Ha Anh Tuan and Phuong Linh often argued and got angry. When on stage, Phuong Linh still seemed upset, so Ha Anh Tuan took the initiative to apologize and make up, coaxing her: "Don't be angry anymore so you can sing well."

After that, Ha Anh Tuan did not pamper or coax Phuong Linh anymore. The last time they had a big argument was at a fireworks festival.

Currently, Ha Anh Tuan and Phuong Linh have their own paths. Although they are not as famous and influential in the community as their former duet partner, she is satisfied with her leisurely and comfortable life.

"I have self-respect and dignity, so I will never take advantage of the old duet to cling to Tuan like some mean netizens think. I cherish those good things and each person has the right choice for their own destiny," she shared.

Phuong Linh hopes that some internet users will not continue to associate her with singer Ha Anh Tuan in their personal posts.

Ha Anh Tuan - Phuong Linh is one of the most beloved duets in Vietnamese music. They became a phenomenon with the song Con mua tinh yeu at the program Bai Hat Viet in 2007.

After that, the couple made their mark through a series of songs such as Qua dem nay, Yeu em, Thien duong goi ten, Bien va anh trang, Con tim tan thuong... Their album Ngay hat doi is still loved today.

The last duet product of Ha Anh Tuan and Phuong Linh was "Giọt Buồn Đề Lai" - composed by Duong Khac Linh, released in 2015.
