Chau Cau Ward focuses on resolving conflicts at the grassroots level

Chau Cau Ward was established and put into operation from January 1, 2025 on the basis of merging 4 wards of the city including: Minh Khai, Luong Khanh Thien, Hai Ba Trung and Tran Hung Dao. This is the central area of ​​Phu Ly city, densely populated; there are many agencies, businesses, schools, religious establishments, wholesale markets, commercial centers...

With the above situation, in recent times, the Party Committee and the government of Chau Cau ward have focused on leading and directing functional forces, departments, branches, unions, Party cell committees, and residential groups to do a good job of grasping the situation, promptly resolving conflicts arising in the community, ensuring security and order, creating a stable, healthy, and civilized environment for local development.

Accordingly, from the beginning of the year, Chau Cau Ward Police have advised, built and launched the movement "All people participate in grasping the situation, denouncing crimes, resolving conflicts in the community" with the motto "going to every alley, knocking on every door, checking every conflict" to detect early, resolve promptly, prevent complicated cases and incidents from happening in the area; build a model of "Drug-free Ward" attaching the responsibility of each cadre, party member, force participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level and residential groups and residential areas in implementation. In addition, build civilized and self-managed streets, ensure traffic order - public order; arrange static parking spots, business and trading centers reasonably, conveniently, safely, and civilizedly in the urban area; strengthen patrolling and controlling closed areas, closed times, strictly manage subjects; strengthen propaganda to prevent all types of crimes in the community.

The skit "Broken Mirrors Reunited" was created by Chau Cau Ward Police to promote people's participation in understanding and resolving conflicts in the community.

Lieutenant Colonel Truong Quang Ha, Chief of Chau Cau Ward Police, said: Regarding the situation of conflicts in the community, recently, local forces have strengthened coordination and deployed solutions to resolve conflicts to ensure 4 requirements: maintaining political security, social order and safety in all situations, not allowing "sudden, unexpected" and complicated situations to occur; participating in conflict resolution to ensure early detection, from a distance, objectively, comprehensively, fully, accurately, flexibly and flexibly; not allowing it to prolong, become complicated, or form hot spots of security and order, quickly stabilizing the situation after resolving conflicts; maximizing the role of mass organizations, departments, branches, unions, mediation teams, mediators, grassroots cadres, prestigious people... in detecting and resolving conflicts among the people.

In the first 3 months of 2025, 44 grassroots mediation teams and Chau Cau Ward Police proactively grasped the situation and discovered 8 cases of internal conflicts among the people. Through grasping and promptly coordinating with local forces, organizations, and unions, 7 cases were successfully mediated and 1 case was administratively handled. Talking about the experience in grasping the situation and resolving conflicts right in the residential community, Mr. Ngo Xuan Luu, Head of Residential Group 8A, Chau Cau Ward, said: Party committees, Party cells, residential group leaders and comrades on duty at residential groups regularly stay close to the area, grasp the situation of internal conflicts among the people, crimes and violations of the law, the number of people with a history of violations due to conflicts, and the number of people with a history of drug violations. Learn about their family circumstances, difficulties and problems, from there consult with local authorities and coordinate with the ward police force to take measures to manage, educate and resolve quickly and promptly, not to let complications arise, not to form hot spots for complaints, not to form drug hotspots and gathering places. In addition, closely coordinate with the ward police force to resolve security and order issues right at the grassroots level to avoid complications, participate in protecting the scene; participate in fire prevention and fighting, rescue people and property in fires, provide first aid to victims...

It can be seen that, with political determination, exemplary leadership of cadres and party members, high consensus, unity, and active participation of the people, the movement "All people participate in grasping the situation, denouncing crimes, and resolving conflicts in the community" in Chau Cau ward has initially brought about positive results. This is a bright spot that needs to be replicated in localities, contributing to maintaining security and order, building the province to be increasingly safe, civilized, and modern.
