Plan to name new communes after Vinh Phuc stops naming according to ordinal numbers

After consideration, Vinh Phuc province decided to rename the commune-level administrative units by removing the serial numbers and using new names associated with historical and cultural factors. Following the province's direction, the districts promptly organized meetings and directed the commune level to collect public opinions.

Song Lo district requested communes and towns (except Cao Phong commune) to organize public consultation on the renaming plan: Song Lo commune to Tam Son commune; Song Lo 1 commune to Song Lo commune; Song Lo 2 commune to Hai Luu commune; Song Lo 3 ​​commune to Yen Lang commune.

The form of collecting opinions is to directly distribute ballots to voters who are representatives of households. The commune level will synthesize the report on the results of collecting voters' opinions and the results of the People's Council meeting at the commune level and send it to the district before 10:00 a.m. on April 25.

After naming by serial number, Tam Dao district has the following situation: Tam Dao 2 High School is located in Tam Dao 1 commune. In Tam Dao 1 commune, there is Tam Dao 2 tourist area project about to be implemented.

On April 23, the Standing Committee of Tam Dao District Party Committee agreed to propose the following names for the rearrangement of administrative units of Tam Dao district: Adjust the name of Tam Dao 1 commune to Dai Dinh commune; adjust the name of Tam Dao 2 commune to Dao Tru commune.

Yen Lac district agreed on the renaming plan as follows: renaming Yen Lac 1 commune; Yen Lac 2 commune; Yen Lac 3 commune to the new names of Lien Chau commune, Tam Hong commune and Nguyet Duc commune. The collection of voters' opinions must be completed before 10:00 a.m. on April 24.

Lap Thach district directed to rename as follows: Lap Thach 1 commune changed to Tien Lu commune; Lap Thach 2 commune changed to Thai Hoa commune; Lap Thach 3 commune changed to Lien Hoa commune; Lap Thach 4 commune changed to Hop Ly commune.

Binh Xuyen district renamed the communes as follows: Binh Xuyen commune became Binh Nguyen commune; Binh Xuyen 1 commune became Xuan Lang commune; Binh Xuyen 2 commune became Binh Xuyen commune; Binh Xuyen 3 commune became Binh Tuyen commune.

Many communes will conduct public consultation on the evening of April 23, ensuring that the consultation is completed before 9:00 a.m. on April 24.

In my opinion, in addition to complying with the law, naming communes needs to be done scientifically , democratically, and carefully; respecting and consulting the opinions of commune-level officials to ensure high consensus and avoid having to do it many times, causing waste.
