The Red River water has receded from the peach gardens of Phu Thuong and Nhat Tan. There is no longer a vast expanse of water, only rows of dead peach trees covered in mud. After a week of being submerged by floodwaters, Phu Thuong peach blossom garden (Tay Ho, Hanoi) is desolate, stained with dark yellow mud. Floodwaters have almost completely receded in the riverbank area, leaving behind a thick, sticky layer of mud. In the peach growing area of Phu Thuong ward, 90% of peach trees have dried up due to prolonged flooding. Tay Ho district authorities estimate the damaged area to be about 105 hectares with tens of thousands of peach trees (Nhat Tan and Phu Thuong). This flood was caused by the influence of rain and floods from the circulation of storm No. 3 (Yagi), the water level of the Red River rose to its highest level above alert level 2 (over 11m), causing complete inundation of the peach blossom growing areas of Nhat Tan and Phu Thuong.

In Phu Thuong, most peach growers have lost everything after completing the care and fertilization stages, just waiting for the day to ring the tree roots, strip the leaves, and sell them for Tet.
People began to clean up and search for flooded belongings. A few households still keep a few dozen peach trees planted on high ground, close to residential areas. The water receded, the peach trees died, the environment was polluted, but the land was also fertilized by alluvium after many years of barrenness. Compared to Phu Thuong, Nhat Tan is a higher area, less flooded, but the damage is not small. After the water receded, it is estimated that Nhat Tan peach growing area suffered about 50% damage. The yellow color of mud and the green color of leaves represent the flood level in Nhat Tan.
