Phu Tho province warns of hailstorms, tornadoes, and lightning.

According to the Northern Mountain Region Meteorological and Hydrological Station, tonight and tomorrow (July 15th), due to the influence of the northern edge of the tropical convergence zone with its axis passing through the North and Central Central regions connected to a tropical depression, combined with upper-level wind convergence, the weather in most areas will be cloudy with scattered showers and thunderstorms, with localized heavy rain and thunderstorms. During thunderstorms, there is a possibility of tornadoes, lightning, hail, and strong gusts of wind.

From the evening of July 14th to 18th, scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected in various parts of the province, with localized heavy rain. Rainfall amounts will generally range from 15-30mm/24h, with some areas exceeding 80mm/24h (rain concentrated in the evening and night).

Water levels on the Thao River in Phu Tho are changing slowly, while water levels on the Lo River at Vu Quang, Viet Tri, are fluctuating according to the regulation of upstream hydroelectric reservoirs.

Warning of natural disaster risk level due to tornadoes, lightning, and hail: Level 1. Localized heavy rainfall may cause flooding in low-lying areas, affecting human lives, agricultural production, causing trees to fall, damaging houses, transportation infrastructure, and other facilities.
