Panorama supplement "Dien Bien Phu Campaign" published by Nhan Dan Newspaper to readers of Ninh Thuan province

On May 22, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Ninh Thuan presented 1,000 copies of the panorama supplement "Dien Bien Phu Campaign" to readers, agencies, units and schools in the province.

Representative of the permanent office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Ninh Thuan, Journalist Vo Nguyen Trung, said: On the occasion of the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory (May 7, 1954 - May 7, 2024), Nhan Dan Newspaper released a special issue on May 7, 2024 with 8 additional pages of information, including 4 pages printing the entire panorama of the "Dien Bien Phu Campaign", 4 pages summarizing the progress of 56 days and nights of the campaign in the form of a diary in Vietnamese and English.

Readers can cut and combine 4 printed pages into a panorama of more than 3.2m long and interact with the picture through augmented reality technology or scan QR codes. This technology allows users to view a dynamic panorama in physical space. This is a meaningful activity, helping readers and the public across the country in general and Ninh Thuan province in particular to add historical value through many forms of access, especially for young audiences.

To facilitate readers to receive the supplement, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper in Ninh Thuan has coordinated with Ninh Thuan Newspaper, Ninh Thuan Radio and Television Station, Provincial Youth Union, and the Provincial Department of Education and Training to widely inform people, schools, and units. Holding this special supplement in her hand, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet Hanh, Vice Principal of Chu Van An High School, said that with these meaningful images and attractive presentation, students will have a more comprehensive and detailed view of the historical campaign that our ancestors fought and won. After receiving the supplements donated by Nhan Dan Newspaper, the school will organize for students to read the publication and learn about the historical Dien Bien Phu campaign, thereby helping them approach the history of the nation more effectively.

It is known that, in addition to giving to readers who come directly to the headquarters, the Representative Office of Nhan Dan Newspaper also gave the supplement to: Ninh Thuan Provincial Youth Union and some schools in the area such as: Chu Van An High School, Provincial Boarding High School for Ethnic Minorities and veteran Nguyen Ngoc Diep in Quarter 4, Kinh Dinh Ward (Phan Rang-Thap Cham City), a former soldier of Regiment 45, Division 351, participating in the Dien Bien Phu campaign in 1953-1954.

In addition, the People's Newspaper Office in Ninh Thuan also donated a number of supplementary copies of the panorama "Dien Bien Phu Campaign" to the Provincial Library to serve readers at the library.
