Women entrepreneurs strengthen product consumption connections and develop sustainable economy

This morning (July 16), during her working program in Hoa Binh province, Central Party Committee member and President of the Vietnam Women's Union Ha Thi Nga attended a product connection and consumption activity with the theme "Hoa Binh Women Integrate Sustainable Economic Development" in 2024.

Attending the program were Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long and representatives of agencies and departments of Hoa Binh province.

With the support of CARE International in Vietnam, the Women's Union of Hoa Binh province organized a product connection and consumption activity with the theme "Hoa Binh Women Integrate Sustainable Economic Development" in 2024. The program aims to support the connection and consumption of products between production units and consumption units inside and outside the province to help women, especially women starting a business, have the opportunity to find stable product output, feel secure in producing and developing local products.

The organizers presented souvenir flags to women participating in the connection program.

Ms. Hoang Thi Duyen, President of the Women's Union of Hoa Binh province, said: This market connection activity has nearly 100 products on display. This is an opportunity to promote typical products that meet quality standards of localities in the province such as: OCOP products, Vietgap products and certificates for medicinal products, quality products in livestock farming, production and processing, with 11 representatives of enterprises inside and outside the province.

Through this activity, the Provincial Women's Union hopes to have connections between consumption units inside and outside the province with product production units owned and managed by women to bring agricultural products, handicrafts, services, tourism... of Hoa Binh women to all provinces/cities in the country, towards exporting products to foreign markets. Thereby solving jobs for members and women, helping women have stable lives and happy families, moving towards real gender equality in all areas of life.
