Women of Hau Loc district with special emulation movement

Hau Loc Town Women's Union gives gifts to members in difficulty.

Every Saturday morning, at the Dong Phu village cultural house, Hoa Loc commune, women members proactively bring scrap to the collection area for the association to collect and sell, raising funds to support poor members and orphans in difficult circumstances. The collection of scrap to raise funds takes place at women's associations throughout the commune and has been carried out since 2021.

Ms. Vo Thi Hieu, President of the Women's Union of Hoa Loc Commune, said: Every month, the branches in the whole commune collect scrap and sell it for about 2 million VND. This fund is used by the branches to give gifts to poor members and orphans in difficult circumstances on the occasion of holidays and Tet. From 2021 to now, the commune has had 250 women and children receive gifts from the scrap collection fund.

To contribute to the construction of an advanced new-style rural commune and carry out a special emulation campaign, the Women's Union of Minh Loc commune has joined hands to implement environmental criteria. Since the beginning of the year, all levels of the union in the commune have installed signs on a 1,000m long women's self-managed road from De bridge to Minh Loc 1 Primary School; mobilized members to plant 200m of flower roads and green fences, and supported working days to dismantle members' degraded houses to build/repair...

The above are 2 of 6 projects/tasks to implement the special emulation campaign launched by the Provincial Women's Union at the beginning of the year, which have been directed and implemented by the Standing Committee of the Hau Loc District Women's Union at the grassroots level. The contents of the 6 projects/tasks of the union include: striving to introduce 44 outstanding members and women to the Party for consideration and admission; mobilizing and supporting the construction/repair of 1 "Shelter of Love" for disadvantaged members; each grassroots union establishes at least 1 model to attract women on the internet to participate in activities and interact on social networks; posting signs on more than 850 models of projects/tasks related to New Rural Development and civilized urban areas; effectively implementing the movement "From collecting scrap to millions of gifts" to effectively implement the program "Millions of gifts to share love", striving to give 2,000 gifts to disadvantaged women and children; Strive to have 6 projects/tasks to support women in economic development.

In order for the special emulation campaign to achieve the set targets, the District Women's Union directed to promote propaganda to each member, women actively and strongly responded by registering and implementing the contents and standards of the movement; being creative and quick in implementation to achieve the best results. During the implementation process, the District Women's Union organized to inspect the emulation campaign contents in a number of communes. Through the inspection, promptly urged and reminded about the registered emulation contents, oriented each individual and unit to carry out the emulation to bring about practical results.

Implementing the motto "Focusing on the grassroots", while continuing to maintain, build and effectively operate existing models/projects, the district's association levels have concretized the implementation of each project and task, such as: posting signs on more than 850 project/project models related to New Rural Development and civilized urban areas; promoting the implementation of the campaign "Building a family of 5 no's, 3 clean's, contributing to fostering Vietnamese family values"; the model "Family of 5 yes's, 3 clean's" in communes of advanced New Rural Development and model New Rural Development. 100% of association bases continue to register with local Party committees and authorities to undertake environmental sanitation in residential areas; Every month, organize a campaign to clean up village roads, alleys... Since the beginning of the year, Hau Loc district has planted more than 1,000m of flower roads, 4 routes of Bauhinia and areca trees, 22/22 units launched a campaign for members to clean up village roads, alleys, canals; 153/153 branches implemented clean roads, self-managed roads for environmental sanitation....

For the movement "From collecting scrap to millions of gifts to effectively implement the program "Millions of gifts to share love", giving 2,000 gifts to women and children in difficult circumstances, up to now, the whole district has collected more than 100 million VND. Typically, the Women's Union of the communes: My Loc collected 12.6 million VND, Phu Loc collected 11.2 million VND, Da Loc collected 11 million VND, Hai Loc collected 9.9 million VND...

It can be said that the special emulation movement in Hau Loc district has been actively responded to by cadres, members and women in the whole district, strongly affecting the activities of the association, making the association's key work programs increasingly go into depth and closely linked to the lives of members.
