Chau Thanh women care for women in difficult circumstances

In 2024, the district's Associations at all levels helped 30 members borrow 740 million VND in "For the Homeland" and "Hygiene Credit" capital; introduced 37 members to attend classes on weaving plastic rattan baskets, participate in training courses on raising cows to create jobs; mobilized the giving of 113 gifts to disadvantaged members and orphans, worth more than 34 million VND; organized a "Zero-VND booth" to give away 50 sets of Ao Dai and 2,000 kg of new used clothes and household items to members in need. Notably, during the year, 115 million VND in livelihood capital was supported for 23 members to start a business.

At the conference, Chau Thanh District Women's Union awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in implementing the model "Livelihood capital support" in 2024.
