(NLDO) - Phu Nhuan District Party Committee, Ho Chi Minh City awarded Party badges to 116 Party members who have been working and living at the District Party Committee.
On January 23, Phu Nhuan district held a meeting to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding and the Party badge awarding ceremony on February 3, 2025.
Attending the program were Ms. Tran Kim Yen - Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Head of the Inspection Committee of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee; Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong - Member of the City Party Committee, Secretary of the Phu Nhuan District Party Committee.
District Party Secretary Phan Thi Thanh Phuong said Phu Nhuan is located in the heart of the city, where before 1975 the enemy's headquarters were concentrated. However, the revolutionary movement was always boiling and the achievements were always shining.
Ms. Tran Kim Yen and Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong congratulated party members receiving Party Badges in Phu Nhuan district.
From a Party cell with 40 members, through the history of development and consolidation, up to now, Phu Nhuan District Party Committee has 5,734 members with 62 grassroots Party organizations. The Party Committee, government and people of Phu Nhuan District through the periods have united as one, promoted the tradition of patriotism, strived to overcome all difficulties to excellently complete the assigned tasks.
Phu Nhuan District leaders award Party badges to Party members
According to Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong, in 2024, Phu Nhuan district achieved many quite comprehensive victories in all fields: Achieving 4/4 targets for Party building work, 19/20 socio-economic plan targets; total budget revenue of 4,122 billion VND, exceeding 14.5% of the ordinance estimate, up 18% over the same period.
The results of the implementation of the Digital Transformation Index (DTI) of the district continue to lead the block of districts, towns, and Thu Duc City; the Administrative Reform Index (PAR Index), the Department and Local Competitiveness Index (DDCI) continue to achieve high rankings.
During the year, Phu Nhuan developed 129 party members, reaching 107% of the target.
Ms. Phan Thi Thanh Phuong said that the above achievements were thanks to the solidarity, unity and proactive efforts of the Party Committee, the government and the people of the district. This result is also an important foundation and belief for the Party Committee, the government, cadres, soldiers and people in the district to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, solidarity and building Phu Nhuan district to develop more and more.
On this occasion, Phu Nhuan District Party Committee awarded badges of 70, 65, 60, 55, 50, 45, 40 and 30 years of Party membership to 116 Party members who have been working and living at the District Party Committee.
