Along with Mrs. Nguyen Thi Minh Nguyet, the wife of President Luong Cuong, visited Viet-Bun Kindergarten (Hai Ba Trung district, Hanoi ) on November 25. The wife of Bulgarian President Rumen Radev expressed her impression and happiness that despite being tens of thousands of kilometers away, there is a school about Bulgarian culture in Vietnam.
Welcoming the two ladies were children in traditional Bulgarian costumes. Here, Hieu Minh, a student from the senior kindergarten class, presented the two ladies with two paintings he had drawn himself. Mrs. Desislava Radeva was presented with a portrait of herself mingling with the famous landscapes of Vietnam and Bulgaria, whilethe President's wife received a painting of the scenery of Viet-Bun Kindergarten. The children sang songs about Bulgaria and performed the musical "Little Hoa goes to school" adapted from a Bulgarian story...

The two ladies also visited the classroom of 5-year-old students named Yanbibian (a famous Bulgarian cartoon character). This is one of the original classrooms that has been preserved since Bulgaria built it in 1981. Here, the Bulgarian President's wife presented the children with a Yanbibian figurine. Afterwards, the two ladies participated in Koro and bamboo dancing activities in the school grounds.
"Children are our love and our future. I would like to thank the teachers for imparting and teaching them about love and affection for Bulgaria," VNA quoted Ms. Desislava Radeva as saying.

Mrs. Desislava Radeva hopes that one day she will be able to welcome Vietnamese children to the Land of Roses and enjoy traditional Bulgarian dishes.
As First Lady of Bulgaria, Desislava Radeva has taken many initiatives related to children. She often meets with schoolchildren to discuss various topics such as Bulgarian traditions, culture, fighting fake news and educating children. She also sponsors the “Alternative Music in the Streets” project, which opens the doors to classical music for children from disadvantaged families.

Viet-Bun Kindergarten was established on December 23, 1981, donated to Vietnamese children by the Bulgarian Women's Union, formerly Dimitrov Kindergarten, under the Committee for the Protection of Mothers and Children. After the kindergarten was dissolved, the school was transferred to the Department of Education and Training of Hanoi, and was renamed Viet-Bun Kindergarten by the City People's Committee.
