On August 19, after the official welcoming ceremony, the wife of General Secretary and President Xi Jinping, Ms. Peng Liyuan, invited the wife of General Secretary and President Su Lin, Ms. Wu Fangli, to enjoy a tea party and watch a traditional Chinese art performance.

At the tea party, Mrs. Ngo Phuong Ly expressed her joy at meeting Mrs. Peng Liyuan; respectfully conveyed the warm regards of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong's wife, Mrs. Ngo Thi Man, to Mrs. Peng Liyuan.

Madam Peng Liyuan warmly welcomed Madam Wu Fangli to China, expressed her joy at meeting Madam Wu Fangli, and conveyed her warm regards to Madam Ngo Thi Man, wife of the late General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong.

In a warm and friendly atmosphere, the two ladies exchanged and shared about the unique cultural features of the two countries.
