Phu Luong: 373 households receive livelihood support due to the impact of storm No. 3

Accordingly, Phu Luong district has 373 households of Phu Ly and Yen Do communes receiving conditional cash to restore their livelihoods with a total budget of 1.2 billion VND.

Staff of the District Post Office and the Phu Luong District Red Cross Society guide people of Yen Do commune to fill out forms to receive livelihood support money.

The project's funding supports the following contents: Cash distribution to affected families, support to ensure food and nutrition, improve livelihoods through conditional cash distribution (buying livestock, animal feed, fertilizer, repairing barns, etc.), communication on disease prevention, gender protection and integration, capacity building for all levels of associations, response forces, local authorities and communities on natural disaster prevention and first aid support. Specifically, the support level is from 1-3 million VND/household (depending on the number of people) for households to buy food and necessities and cash of 5 million VND/household for households to buy livestock to restore livelihoods such as: Buying livestock, poultry, animal feed, etc.
