(Dan Tri) - Survey results of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City show the level of people's satisfaction with public education services in 2024.
The Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City has just announced the results of a survey measuring people's satisfaction with public education in the area in 2024.
The survey results were collected from more than 19,000 votes from parents of all levels from kindergarten to high school and high school students in District 1, Binh Tan District and Nha Be District.
Facilities with the lowest satisfaction score
Regarding the overall satisfaction score of parents, it reached an average of 4.65 points on a scale of 5. Of which, the criterion "facilities and teaching equipment" had the lowest score of 4.60.
The overall satisfaction score of students according to the student assessment criteria reached an average of 4.51 points on a 5-point scale. The criterion "facilities and teaching equipment" also had the lowest satisfaction score at 4.48.
The overall satisfaction scores of parents and students were highest in the "educational environment" criterion, reaching 4.69 and 4.53 points, respectively.
According to the assessment of the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, this partly shows the way of organizing teaching and evaluating learning outcomes fairly and transparently, the relationship between students is friendly, affectionate, united, the learning environment is safe, healthy, meeting the learning needs of students and the expectations of parents.
Regarding parents' satisfaction scores by level of education, the highest score is in the "educational environment" criterion of preschool level at 4.92 points, the lowest score is in the criterion of facilities and teaching equipment at 4.43 points.
Parents' satisfaction scores with public education services in all criteria decreased by grade level, lowest at junior high school and high school levels.
Student satisfaction score by location, student satisfaction level in Nha Be district is higher than in District 1 and Binh Tan district.
The highest student satisfaction score in the "educational environment" criterion was 4.59 points in Nha Be district and the lowest in the "facilities and teaching equipment" criterion was 4.44 points in Binh Tan district.
Higher Satisfaction Rate 2023
Survey results show that the overall satisfaction rate of parents with public education services in 2024 is higher than in 2023, reaching 96.6% (in 2023 it reached 90.2%).
The overall student satisfaction rate with public education services in 2024 is higher than in 2023, reaching 95.79% (in 2023 it reached 90.6%).
The overall satisfaction rate of parents at preschool level is the highest among all levels of education. In which, the criterion of "educational environment" at preschool level is 99.65%, the lowest is the criterion of "accessibility to educational services at school" at high school level is 95.20%.
In terms of the response rate compared to expectations, the survey showed that the city's public education services have met parents' expectations, up more than 5% compared to 2023.
This rate is very high at preschool level, reaching 99.77% and gradually decreases as the level of education increases, reaching 96.07% at primary school, 96.76% at high school and 98.91% at high school.
