(Dan Tri Newspaper) - The survey results from the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training indicate the level of public satisfaction with public education services in 2024.
The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just announced the results of a survey measuring public satisfaction with public education in the city in 2024.
The survey results were gathered from over 19,000 questionnaires from parents of preschool to high school students and high school students in District 1, Binh Tan District, and Nha Be District.
Facilities received the lowest satisfaction rating.
Regarding overall parent satisfaction, the average score was 4.65 out of 5. Of these, the criterion "facilities and teaching equipment" received the lowest score at 4.60.

The overall student satisfaction score based on the student evaluation criteria averaged 4.51 points on a 5-point scale. The criterion "facilities and teaching equipment" also had the lowest satisfaction score at 4.48.
The overall satisfaction scores of both parents and students were highest in the "educational environment" criterion, reaching 4.69 and 4.53 points respectively.
According to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training, this partly demonstrates the fair and transparent way in which teaching and learning outcomes are organized, the friendly and harmonious relationships among students, the solidarity, and the safe and healthy learning environment that meets the learning needs of students and the expectations of parents.

Regarding parent satisfaction scores by educational level, the highest score was in the "educational environment" criterion for preschool, at 4.92 points, while the lowest was in the criterion for facilities and teaching equipment, at 4.43 points.
Parents' satisfaction scores with public education services decreased across all criteria with each grade level, reaching the lowest levels at the lower and upper secondary schools.
Student satisfaction scores vary by location; students in Nha Be District are more satisfied than those in District 1 and Binh Tan District.
The highest satisfaction score among students was 4.59 points in the "educational environment" criterion in Nha Be district, while the lowest was 4.44 points in the "facilities and teaching equipment" criterion in Binh Tan district.
The satisfaction rate was higher in 2023.
The survey results show that the overall satisfaction rate of parents with public education services in 2024 is higher than in 2023, reaching 96.6% (compared to 90.2% in 2023).
The overall student satisfaction rate with public education services in 2024 is higher than in 2023, reaching 95.79% (compared to 90.6% in 2023).

The overall satisfaction rate of parents at the preschool level is the highest among all educational levels. Specifically, the "educational environment" criterion at the preschool level reached 99.65%, while the lowest was the "accessibility to educational services at school" criterion at the high school level, at 95.20%.
In terms of meeting expectations, the survey showed that the city's public education services met parents' expectations, an increase of over 5% compared to 2023.
This rate is very high at the preschool level, reaching 99.77%, and gradually decreases as the school level increases, reaching 96.07% at primary school, 96.76% at high school, and 98.91% at high school.
