Parents and students note about admission for the first grade of the 2025 - 2026 school year

On April 5, according to the Department of Education and Training of Ho Chi Minh City, the admission information portal for the 2025-2026 school year at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn was officially opened.

Parents have 9 days to check their personal information on the city's admissions website at https://tuyensinhdaucap.hcm.edu.vn. The parents' login account and password will be provided by the school.

From April 4 to April 13, 2025, parents can access the system to review and adjust if necessary, to ensure accuracy in data for admission to early grades, including grades 1, 6 and 10.

Parents and students should closely monitor admission information to avoid missing important deadlines.

In case of information adjustment, parents enter the requested adjustment content, attach evidence to the system (image of student's birth certificate, image of parent's VNeID, residential information section).

The school will verify the content of the parent's request for adjustment and proceed to adjust the information. After the school makes the adjustment, the parent accesses the city's primary school admissions page to check and confirm the correct information. Any subsequent requests for changes will not be resolved, except in special cases, proposed by the local admissions committee.

After the above deadline, the system will lock the editing function. Any adjustment requests will only be accepted in special cases and must have a valid reason with specific evidence.

From April 14 to 16, the Department of Education and Training will compile data and send it to the Department of Education and Training of Thu Duc City and districts to finalize the number of students preparing to enter grades 1 and 6.

From April 17 to 19, the People's Committee of Thu Duc City and districts will report the total number of students by area to the City's Primary Admissions Steering Committee to serve the quota allocation work.

The Department of Education and Training recommends that parents and students closely monitor enrollment information from the online system as well as announcements from schools where students register to avoid missing important deadlines.

This year, with the application of a data digitization and centralized management system, Ho Chi Minh City continues to maintain a public and synchronous primary school admission process, helping to reduce administrative procedures and improve accuracy and fairness for all students in the area.

In the 2025-2026 school year, primary school enrollment in Ho Chi Minh City will be conducted online, through student identification codes and actual residence.

At the same time, combine the use of the city's shared digital map system to calculate the travel distance of students, not allocating students according to ward administrative boundaries, to create conditions for students to study near their current residence and in accordance with the actual local situation.

For schools located on the border between localities, the local primary school admission steering committees develop appropriate admission plans, creating favorable conditions for students to study near their current place of residence.
